One hour of theater-game with a single goal: to die happy. An interactive experience to reflect together on the strange logic of life.

If you could start over from scratch, how would you rebuild your life? This is the question at the heart of the theater-game for ten randomly chosen spectators, created by playwright and director Emanuele Aldrovandi, author of successful productions including ERT Farfalle (2021) and Come diventare ricchi e famosi da un momento all’altro (2024).

The small group of spectators is invited to experiment with a new life by making choices that influence the course of the play. The goal is simple: to die happy. “How?” writes the author. “Survive alone or join others? Bet and perhaps lose everything, or be thrifty? Follow the law or abandon yourself to illegality? Trust fate […] or rely on calculation? Follow your instincts or fight against them?”

One hour of theater-game to live a “second life” and reflect together on its meaning and logic, because, according to Aldrovandi, “the world is indeed a stage […], but also a great game where we challenge fate, show our skills, win, lose, cheat.”
