Riccardo Tesorini is an Italian composer, sound designer, and multimedia artist living and working in Bologna, Italy.

He works across sound installations, live performances, electroacoustic composition, audiovisual productions, and projects for theatre and cinema. Always fascinated by the relationship between music and images, he began his artistic career exploring different forms of sound in space and time.

Stylistically, his work is characterized by an introspective vision combined with a constant inspiration drawn from nature, which he perceives as an essential condition for harmony.

He studied Sound Engineering at the National Academy of Cinema in Bologna and earned a Master’s Degree from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). He graduated cum laude from the Conservatory F. Morlacchi in Perugia, specializing in Electronic Music and New Technologies. After a mobility period at the Sibelius Academy in Helsinki, he completed a Master’s degree cum laude in Sound Design at the Conservatory G.B. Martini in Bologna.

His work encompasses composing music for theatre, including collaborations with playwright Emanuele Aldrovandi, soundtracks, sound design, electroacoustic projects such as Haou Nebout and Eezu, as well as the creation of sound installations and sound art.

His compositions and performances have been presented in: United States, Japan, Canada, South Korea, Germany, Austria, Italy, France,United Kingdom, Portugal, Finland, Estonia, and Cyprus.
