The initiative emerged from the collaboration between Riccardo Tesorini and Gaia Nieri and a network of creative practitioners, with the aim of developing a new cultural space. At a historical moment in which social aggregation and individual initiative were severely undermined, the project sought to create a collective space for artistic participation and shared experience.
The room of the house used as an exhibition space was covered with sheets of aluminum: no longer white, neutral walls, but rippled and reflective surfaces. The silver color, its reflective properties, its easy availability, and its low cost were the key characteristics that led to the choice of this material.
The private dimension was thus dismantled and deformed in favor of an opening toward the outside and toward the public. The domestic space was altered so that it could be traversed by everyone and, free from constraints, absorb stimuli and impulses.
