EEZU is a musical project by Italian composer and musician Riccardo Tesorini, created as a space where years of scattered sonic material and diverse musical experiences converge under a single name.

Komorebi, released by JAP Records, is the result of this process. The album was developed through a series of collaborations, primarily with Eugenio Roccetti (keyboards) and Marco Ronconi (drums), who also join the project in its live performances.

The recording sessions took place at JAP Perù Studio in Perugia and involved several musicians and friends from the Italian independent scene, contributing to the album’s rich and layered sound.

The title track Komorebi—a Japanese word meaning “the light that filters through the leaves of trees”—marks the conclusion of a journey through light and shadow, seasons and transformations, memories and sudden changes. The accompanying video, filmed in Sweden, reflects on the fragile yet powerful presence of nature, emphasizing a beauty that calls for awareness and preservation.
